Cebu offers innumerable reasons to make a visit memorable — powdery white sand beaches, adrenaline-inducing outdoor adventures, vibrant nightlife, and lively food scene among others. And every visitor would agree that no trip to the Queen City of the South will be complete without tasting its culinary pride –– the lechon.

The lechon or roasted suckling pig is always the star and the center-piece of every Filipino buffet, may it be a grand or a simple celebration. And when we talk about the best lechon in the Philippines, Cebu’s version undeniably comes on top of the list.

One of the best places to sample Cebu Lechon is at Rico’s Lechon.

Hailed as Cebu’s best lechon, Rico’s Lechon conquers central Cebu as they open their newest restaurant on December 12, in N. Escario Street.

Enrico “Rico” Dionson, founder and chief executive officer of the chain restaurants, recognized the increasing demand of their lechon and events booking in Mactan and Mabolo branches. Along with the blessing of their new commissary just this year is their decision to open a bigger and more accesible branch for customers in the city.

Bringing Rico’s Lechon closer to the heart of Cebu City would not only accommodate more customers but also reach out to those who may find it hard to access the first two branches.

Rico’s Lechon opens the door of its third and largest branch ahead of the holiday season. The newest home of the best lechon is now made accessible at Axis Entertainment Avenue, Vibo Place at N. Escario St. just a few minutes away from the Cebu Provincial Capitol.

The restaurant which is poised to be the venue for all occasions is a two-storey space that features 100-seating capacity dining area and another 100-seating capacity function room.

“Opening this new bigger branch of Rico’s Lechon is one way to say thank you to those who continuously patronize our product. We want to give all Cebuanos and tourists more accessible place to try our best lechon and show them that we have more special dishes to offer as well. Now, friends, colleagues, and families can all come and enjoy.”, Enrico “Rico” Dionson, founder and chief executive officer of the chain restaurants, said.
