Watami brings Japanese Casual Dining in Cebu

The restaurant scene in Cebu is vibrant and it gets more exciting with the entry of Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant, a leading food and beverage brand in Japan with over 700 branches in the Asia Pacific region.

Watami Japanese Casual restaurant opens in Cebu

Watami recently opened their first branch outside Manila, and it’s in Cebu! They’re located at Level 1 at the The Terraces of Ayala Mall in Cebu Business Park.

Since the opening of their maiden store in SM Mall of Asia, Watami has been pleasing the palates of discerning Japanese food lovers. A member of The Bistro Group, the same company that owns and manages some of the most popular restaurant concepts in the country like Italianni’s, Denny’s, and TGIFridays, Watami offers authentic and quality Japanese cuisine at reasonable prices. Its best sellers include ramen, sushi rolls, sashimi, aburi, assorted skewers and rice bowls.

For appetizers, we had Green Soy Bean and crispy Nori Nachos topped with bonito flakes. It was a good warm-up before filling our tummies with our favorite Japanese dishes.

We sampled their Shrimp Tempura and feasted on their lip-smacking sushi rolls, Tuna Aburi and California Maki.

We also tried their Pepper Beef Rice in Stone and Beef Rice with Hot Spring Egg in Tokyo Style.

And to complete our authentic Japanese dining, we sampled their best selling ramen.

With their original dishes and signature beverages, Watami has proven to be a market leader in product development and understanding consumer’s ever changing tastes and preferences.
